I have owned dogs since I was a kid. I personally owned a husky for 7 years, and have had a German shepherd for the last 6 years. I have always loved animals, but have a special love for dogs.

My own home has a fenced yard with a high fence for jumpers. I do also have an in fenced pool, so dogs would need to be okay around water (my dog doesn’t get in). I also have a large doggy door for when I am not at home. My dog is not crates, but am open to using one if it’s needed for your dog or makes you/your dog more comfortable. I don’t mind staying short term at other peoples homes to care for their pets, but would prefer to be able to bring my dog with me.
