About Duke:

Breed: German Shepherd
Age: 11 years young
Temperament: Duke is an absolute sweetheart who’s eager for love and attention! He enjoys his walks, sniffing everything along the way, and getting lots of pets.
Special Needs:
Duke prefers the company of humans over other large dogs, so we ask that you avoid interactions with them during walks.
As a senior dog, he needs a calm, steady walker who can handle occasional bursts of excitement (like when the UPS truck drives by—he knows they have treats!).

Job Duties:

Walking: A leisurely 40-minute stroll around the neighborhood.
Water: Refresh his water bowl when you return home.
Treats & Love: Reward him with a treat (he’s food motivated!) and give him lots of affection.
Safety First: Be mindful of other large dogs and be ready to gently redirect his focus if he gets too curious.

Requirements:

Comfortable with large senior dogs.
Confident in handling an excited Duke when he spots his favorite delivery truck.
Willing to bring treats on the walk—his favorite motivator!
Patient, reliable, and ready to give lots of love and attention to a sweet senior pup.

Details:

Location: Walks are in Broadview, Northwest Seattle with scenic views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.
Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesdays around 11am
Compensation: $20/hr for 1 hour per day
