My husband and I have a 17-year-old female kitty named Wendigo. She is our only fur child, and although she is very healthy, we hate being away from her at her age. We need to take a short trip to Minnesota in late March or early April, and we are looking for a very attentive and communicative sitter for Wendigo.

Wendigo is a little stand-offish with strangers, but not skittish. She enjoys sunbeams and YouTube videos with birds and squirrels she can watch. What we're most interested in is someone who will stay with her for a little while each day we're gone. We like it when our sitters give us regular updates via text messages and pictures so that we know she's doing ok.

Wendigo gets dry kibble and a little shredded chicken breast for her meals, and we give her a dietary supplement that we mix into baby food every day.

We're hoping to find a sitter who can be our go-to whenever we need to take a trip.
