My girl Rue has been my service dog for a year and a half. She is nearly 3 years old and has recently been diagnosed with seizures that are controlled with medication. I began working 12 hr. shifts and am now switching to nights three days a week. She like everyone else needs a potty break and to stretch from her kennel. I keep her in the kennel while I'm not home for her safety in case she does have an episode. We have been blessed so far since beginning treatment that not one has occurred. Checking her water to make sure its full and fresh is all she would need for care. She's a sweet soul and loves people and every animal she can greet.
