I recently purchased an English Cream Golden Retriever. I am just now trying to crate train him, and would ask the sitter to crate for approximately 20 min 2 x daily. He needs to connect safety to the crate and begin to be comfortable in it. Right now I can't leave without him barking non-stop. He goes out to potty at least every 2 hrs. He would eat 1 cup of his food in the morning, and afternoon. After eating I wait about 10-15 min., then take him out to poop. If he doesn't go, he goes back out in 10 minutes. So during this transition I thought a sitter would help enormously, as I have work, meetings, I have to attend. I also have a 6 yr old English Cream Golden Retriever. She is amazing. No special notes needed on her at all.
