We may need care when we are traveling out of state, usually for 3-7 days.

My dog, Rico, is a 5 year old mini poodle. He loves to cuddle but can be a bit clingy. He's happiest when he's roaming around the house and generally likes to have access to people; he generally prefers to be able to walk into a room if you're in it but respects bathrooms.

Rico is developing arthritis in his pelvis so he doesn't like walking up stairs. He also shouldn't jump off of anything, and walks should be under 20 minutes. He generally doesn't like longer walks and will prompt you to turn around and head back home...even if you've only been outside for 2 minutes.

In terms of feeding, we leave the food and water out all day and he's really good about self-regulating.

He can be by himself generally 6-8 hours at a time.
