Our dog, Rusty, is a rescue we've been rehoming since 2023. He's about 4 years old, crate and house trained, and very sweet to kids and women. He gets a little scared around men and in overnight kennels, so we are seeking someone nearby to either stay overnight in our basement guest apartment with him, or come by early morning and spend time with him during weekend travel. Rusty is a Pit, German Shepherd, and maybe Ridgeback mix who is timid around new people but again, very loving once he knows you. We'd set you up for success with a couple easy meet n greets ahead of time. Rusty has gone to a board and train for a month twice now and does well with the trainer and her husband, so we know he's a good boy with the right care! Thank you for considering.
