I am seeking a motherly woman who can play as a mother to a child who has lost a pet and is keeping it a secret from her child when the child asks "Why don't we have a cat?"

The Scene:
A mother sits with her child, reading a child's storybook. The child sees a cat, asks. Mom offers a vague, more comforting answer, hiding the full truth of her pain and loss. Moments of bonding with the cat, burdens of responsibilty/inevitable loss.
