Jake is a 16-year-old Shiba Inu, he is goofy, excitable, charming, affectionate, and calm. He is fully sighted, although slightly hard of hearing. He is house-trained, dog/kid-friendly, quiet, and loves treats.
Jake has a vestibular disease from a bad ear infection a bit ago. Therefore he is wobbly, clumsy, and often needs help getting back on his feet. He is incredibly smart, used to being handled, and has learned to rely on humans for help, so he will tell you exactly what he needs (i.e. if stuck he will alert you via 1 quick bark, lean on you for support, etc.)
I am seeking someone to visit Jake Mon-Fri for 1-2 hours while I am at work (Stanford). When home alone, he stays in a pen and will need to be let out for a potty break, fed, and watered. I have a fenced-in yard so walks will not be necessary. All supplies included. You will not need to worry about medications, I will make sure all you need to do is come in and spend time with him and check on him. We look forward to meeting you!
