Hi, my name is Etta and I love being a nanny because it makes me feel like I'm doing something important in the world. What is more essential than helping our children grow up to be kind, compassionate and happy people? Being a consistent presence for good in the lives of children in my community is something I am very proud of. Besides caring for children I have been a professional baker & postpartum doula. I am a CPR & NRP certified mom of two available for COVID19-safe care. I practice all evidence-based COVID safety measures including social distancing, having contact with a very small pod of people, wearing masks, cleaning surfaces in my home, thorough and frequent handwashing, etc. I am happy to discuss specifics of my personal COVID-related practices with you. My favorite things to do with children of any age are be outside (in the yard, on walks, in the community, in nature, etc.), to work on art projects (as simple as drawing with crayons or as complex as working with clay, paint, and other mediums), and to involve kids in every day tasks like cooking, cleaning, laundry, picking up, organizing, and running simple errands.
