Hi, my name is Sydney and I am new to the New York area. I am originally from Wisconsin, but attended college in Minnesota. I am 22 years old and will be graduating college in May 2023 with a bachelors of science degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Psychology. I recently moved to New York for a semester long internship at The Children's Village where I am working with the inner cities at risk youth designing and implementing recreation programs. When I was in high school I babysat for a couple of families with children ranging from 1-12 years old, but once I got my CNA license when I was 16, I have been working at a nursing home caregiving for the elderly ever since. I have a passion for caring and helping others which lead me to choosing my degree and part time job on the side.
