I am a very experienced nanny with over 100 credits in early childhood education including special education. I am in my forties, a non-smoker with an insured car. I have nannied for multiple families in the past as well as working in the childcare field through the YMCA. I love to swim and was a swim instructor for many years, so if your kids like the water and wanted lessons i could help with that as well. I was certified professional level CPR and First aid for many many years. I am a fairly good cook. Quarantining really helped up my cooking game (silver lining). I currently work part-time with a cognitively challenged individual. My hours there are typically 2 afternoons a week primarily wed, thurs, or friday. If you can work around that schedule and want to meet to discuss the possibility I am available. Depending on the age, I typically use time-outs or loss of privileges as a consequence but that's something i always coordinate with parent wishes. I don't like to yell and don't believe in any form of corporal punishment. All the children i have ever worked with have really enjoyed having me care for them. I am very engaged with the children in my care playing games, doing crafts, or sports etc. I am a strong believer of positivity, praising the good and building self-esteem.
