Hello, all! I am soon to be a UW-Madison alumn with a dual degree in Political Science and History, and I am planning on attending a Master's program in Library and Information Sciences. As the oldest of 10 much younger cousins, I have always been passionate and competent when it comes to childcare. Children are funny, joyful, and often insightful, and part of my degree that I seek is for their benefit. I love being a babysitter and nanny because it is helpful to not only the children, but their parents as well. Finding good child care is difficult, and as someone who lives to benefit the lives of others, I am always glad to provide assistance to those who need it. My babysitting experience can be traced all the way back to when I was 12, and as a result, I have developed many important skills when interacting with Read more children. I had a full-time nannying job in the summer of 2021, which provided me with much-needed insight into the specific duties and responsibilities of a nanny. I have worked with children ranging from 2 years old to 13, which also gives me versatility in my experiences. As a former lifeguard, part of my certification involved CPR and first aid training, and I have retained all of the relevant skills. As an independent adult and an older daughter, I am well-versed in cooking, cleaning, and other household tasks. I have a reliable car that I have driven since I was 16, and I know my way around Madison well. It is always my first priority to maintain safe driving practices, whether it's just me in the car, or others as well. As a college graduate and a high school cum laude graduate, I am also more than willing to help children with their school work. I am overall passionate, experienced, and more than excited to nanny for you and your children this summer!
