Hello, I have been alive 23 years and have spent a good portion of my early teenage to early adult years caring for others. I enjoy spending my time with young humans as they are growing and developing. Youth are a product of the people they grow up around, and I feel I bring a positive forward energy to relationships; I enjoy being a part of developing good character. I have been an integral part to 4 families(serving for 8 months to 3 years.) Most recently, I served as a live-in traveling home manager for a private household in central Minnesota for 3 years; serving as the hands and feet of their late mother/wife. I managed the 6,600 sq. ft 5 bed 4.25 bath home and 1,499 sq. ft 3 bed 2 bath condominium including the lawn, garden and maintenance teams(where applicable). During this time, the daughter (a young teen) Read more was my errand sidekick. When I wasn't scheduling, preparing meals or doing household chores, we would enjoy walks(and ranger rides) on the property with the family dog, building reading forts, trips to parks, lakes, museums and plays, bowling, arts and crafts, mini golf, and the occasional movie night. In my time with my extended family, I assisted in developing daily life tasks and implementing household SOPs until my sidekick was old enough and capable enough for me to move on from my position and leave her with the reins. Now that she is self sufficient, and the home no longer needs my assistance, I am hoping to find another position in which I can be part of a positive support system. My experience in teaching life skills to young adults, maintaining a home, and adapting to changing circumstances make me a good fit for any welcoming family/home. Personally, I am a reserved yogi with a deep appreciation for ease. I enjoy road biking, reading, making jewelry, eating vegetables, and smiling. I don't do much screen time; I don't follow sports, television, celebrities or other 'entertainment' whatsoever. I appreciate open and prompt communication. I am patient, respectful, curious and driven by the pursuit of knowledge and understanding.
