I started caring for children when I was 9, being an older sister-type figure for my younger neighbors. Then became a CIT for Camp Sealth on Vashon where I was a volunteer counselor, as well as for other camps, then a Summer Camp counselor this summer and last summer where I worked with all ages kids ranging from 4 to 12. During the school year this year, I took care of a 4th grader at a school nearby tutored her, and drove her home. I became a caregiver for kids because I can make great connections with them, helping them through the good and the rough. I have CPR and First-Aid certified as well as I have my Babysitting certification. I also have my car and am willing to drive pretty far as it is electric.
