Hi (●’◡’●)ノ, I'm Michelle, an African lady aged 25. I reside in the University District . I am an experienced nanny with 5 years of experience taking care of children ˙ᵕ˙ ˙ᵕ˙ ˙ᵕ˙ from infants to preschoolers. ♡ ̆̈ I gained my experience from working as a preschool assistant teacher, as a nanny, and as a sitter. I don't have a degree in early childhood, but I have completed childcare courses. I have focused more on enhancing my skills, so I gained more knowledge through reading books on early childhood, which I apply in my work. This has worked for me because I know I'm the best child caregiver. I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I help children reach their developmental milestones, making sure they are safe, and most importantly, providing them with emotional support, which helps them with self-regulation. ˗ˏˋ ♡ ˎˊ When it comes to having Read more fun, I believe in tailoring activities to each child's age and interests. For the little ones, I enjoy engaging them with gentle sensory play, soothing lullabies, tummy time, mirror play, peekaboo, talking and singing, and most importantly responding to their cues. I enjoy doing all sorts of cool things with toddlers and preschoolers like engaging them in hands-on activities, promoting practical life skills, and encouraging exploration of their environment. I love setting up awesome projects( such as making playdough, homemade clay, spray chalk and different types of paint), science experiments, backyard and nature activities, and exploring concepts (such as shapes, colors, numbers, letters and time). I'm an introverted person. I'm self-learning coding in Python, planning on going into data science. This has improved my problem-solving skills and enhanced my creativity. If you're interested to hear more, I'd be more than willing to share with you. :) So let’s embark on an amazing adventure together and create unforgottable memories together.
