Hi! My name is Sarah, I currently teach at Cedar Heights MS as a substitute teacher. I’ve been with South Kitsap School District for 2 years. Previously I was living in LA substitute teaching as well. In total I have 5-6 years of experience working with kids in classrooms and after school care. My certification allows me to work with grades K - 12. This school year I also gained great experience working in special education. I enjoy teaching and helping kids because they are always amazed by learning new things. Their honesty and funny quirks make the job more fun too. Creating a safe environment for kids to just be themselves while having fun is a rewarding part of the job as well. Since I do teach during the school year I am looking for mainly summer opportunities but I’m open to occasional jobs during the school year.
