Hi, I'm Emma! I recently moved back to Maui from my hometown in Washington. I spent time back home working as an assistant teacher in a preschool classroom at a non-profit early learning center, as well as working as a nanny for multiple years. To work in the center I was required to complete a 30 hour child care basics training and become CPR certified, and I also completed many creative curriculum and classroom environment based trainings. I believe that learning and growing should be led by children and their interests, but I especially enjoy planning art and nature based activities! I am currently living in Paia and still shopping around for a reliable vehicle, so I think the most beneficial relationship for me as of right now would need to be with a family in the Paia area, but that will change once I buy a car.
