I have nineteen years of paid experience. I have always loved children and the best part is teaching them the skills to grow. I worked in childcare for nine years, receiving extensive training and experience with many age groups. Four years with infants, caring and nurturing their every need. Continuing with the two year olds, which is age group. Not only are you potty training you are teaching everyday skills like drinking from a cup. I find it the perfect age to start learning colors, shapes, numbers and letters. Moving on to preschool and the learning explodes. As my son grew older I changed my direction to assisting in caring for smaller groups and being a nanny is the best way. I enjoy working with children and watching them grow. Children's laundry, meals, clean-up, transportation, and most importantly caring and interacting with the children. I've been working for a family for the past 7 years. They will be moving me to part time and I would love to find a new family to be a part of. I'm looking for two days a week, up to 10 hour days.
