Hello, I’m Emily, an enthusiastic, trustworthy, empathetic, and flexible individual with a passion to care for children. I have years of experience in multiple different childcare settings. I’ve worked with all ages from newborn to school age, and have experience caring for multiple children at once. I enjoy being able to have a close connection to the families whose children I care for. That includes working closely with parents to meet their preferred needs, having open communication, and respecting family values. Building trusting and strong relationships with children is also a very important aspect of my job. Getting on their level, becoming engaged in their interests, as well as respecting and helping them navigate their thoughts and feeings, are all a part of building a healthy and trusting relationship with them. I enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor activities, reading, and helping children explore and learn through play. I’m comfortable with pets and don’t mind caring for them as well, however I do have a cat allergy. I have a drivers license with a clean driving record, and my own transportation.
