I come from a large family of 13 siblings, so growing up i learned how to deal with different personalities and learned to care for others. I have a passion for nurturing and caring for children. I have been working with children since 2012 where I started at Riverheads Elementary School working with Kindergarten and Fifth Grade students. I worked as a volunteer aid to the teacher where I assisted teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment. From there I went on to the Boys and Girls Club where I worked to develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate children and daily activities in a traditional Club environment. In 2016 I began working for a private daycare called Growing Places. There, I worked babies 6 weeks to 4 years old. I worked to develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that kept all of the interactive areas sanitary Read more and safe. I monitored children during outdoor activities and interacted with the children to enhance their learning kept constant communication with parents about the child’s well being. I also prepared and served meals and monitored children during lunch time. From August 2020 to February 2022 I was a private many to what started out as a family of 3 and grew to a family of 4. Started with a 1 year old and as the family grew I cared for the newborn as well.
