I am seeking a position as a part-time nanny in the Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg area. Hours and days are very flexible. All ages are okay. I'm very comfortable with animals and pets of any species. I have preschool/daycare teaching, tutoring, and substitute elementary teaching experience. And I completed my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Liberty University. For the past 4 years, I have been the full-time nanny to one family with a (now) four year old, and 2 year year old with special needs. I have some experience with tracheostomy and g-tube care for an infant. The four year old is now in school and the 2 year old has round-the-clock nursing care so I have outgrown my position with this family. I love working with children of all ages! I love reading, nature, art, science, and cooking projects, trips to parks, museums, and the library. I am a firm and Read more structured caregiver, but always gentle and loving. I strive to meet the individual needs of children in my care because they ARE all individuals with different needs and abilities. I am not currently CPR/First-aid certified but have been in the past and am willing to obtain certification again. I'm eager to meet you and your little ones to see if we would be a great fit!
