Hello I recently relocated to Virginia to serve as a nanny for my sister’s two-year-old daughter, and through this experience, I have discovered how much I truly enjoy working with young children. I am excited to continue my career here in Virginia as a full-time nanny. I was born and raised in Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Animal Science. After graduation, I started and successfully ran my own pet sitting business, which I managed until moving to Virginia. While I have always loved caring for animals, my time as a nanny has shown me that working with children is where my passion truly lies. For the past year, my responsibilities have included arriving early each morning to dress and prepare breakfast for my niece, driving her an hour to preschool, and picking her up after school. I am flexible and readily available to assist on school vacation days, sick days, and holidays whenever needed. I am certified by Child Care of America, CPR and First Aid certified, and have completed extensive background checks. I maintain a clean driving record, have never been involved in an accident, and drive a new, reliable car for safe transportation. I am seeking a position with a family who has one or two children, ideally aged one year and older, as I particularly enjoy nurturing children in these early years. A schedule of five days a week with approximately eight hours per day would be ideal, though I am happy to offer flexibility as needed.
