My name is Emily! I just graduated from the UVU nursing program and am looking for a summer job! I will start working in the NICU in August once I pass the NCLEX. I completed a mission in Guatemala, and lived in Colombia as a summer Au Pair(live abroad nanny). As a lifelong/collegiate soccer athlete, I can easily keep up with any age. I am CPR/AED certified and the safety and health of your kiddo is my priority. I have been a nanny for 5 years now and wouldn't trade my experiences for the world. My strengths lie in my ability to be interactive, energetic, and patient. I am easygoing yet structured with strong communication skills. Engaging and connecting with my kids is what I love about babysitting.

Emily watched our 3 girls (<1-5 yrs old) for a Friday night date night. As soon as she walked in the door, she saw my girls and got down on their level and exclaimed "YAY! New friends!" - my girls were taken with Emily from that moment on. Emily was attentive and patient. Our 1 year old has a hard time going to bed at times, but when we got home, she was down and, though we hear she struggled, Emily didn't exactly the right thing to get her down. As we walked back in from our date, we could hear our two older girls in their bedroom laughing and laughing with Emily. She was a fantastic friend to our girls, and we would definitely work with Emily again and recommend her to anyone!

Emily is great with our 2 year old! She is patient and kind, and she rolls with the punches. He has wet his pants several times since Emily started watching him and she has always handled it very compassionately. She goes to great lengths to make sure he has a good time (literally, though- she pushed the stroller over one mile to his favorite park one day). And she has brought a couple fun books that she knows he’ll like every time she comes. My son has never done this well with a babysitter before!
