Hello there! 😊 I'd like to introduce myself as someone with the heart of a teacher and the mind of an engineer. I possess an insatiable curiosity along with being a natural caregiver and nurturer. I am patient, calm, engaging, friendly, and energetic while at the same time being detail oriented, analytical, adept at multitasking, tech savvy, and skillfully adaptable. I am a natural leader, and I believe that children respond positively to me because I provide a sense of warmth, stability, and confidence that allows them to feel secure in my presence. I’m able to provide all of this with a healthy dose of good old fashioned silliness!! 🤪 My care-giving style is fun and friendly, but firm. I have the empathy, patience, and nurturing ability (as well as the determination) that it takes to handle (and prevent) tantrums. I have high expectations for children because I have their Read more best interest in mind. I provide a safe space for children to express themselves while at the same time teaching them boundaries. I treat every interaction with children as an opportunity to model to them how to be a kind person, and each interaction is an opportunity to either teach or learn. Through my daily yoga and meditation practice, I am accepting and receiving of the good and the bad, with the recognition that even pain can be turned into poetry. I find children to be wonderful company and I’m grateful for their ability to teach me how to remain young at heart.
