PLEASE REQUEST FULL COVER LETTER! (SAMPLE HERE) Fast forward to 2017, I acquired a job working as a teacher at Primrose Private Preschool. Whilst I was a teacher I did plenty more. If you don’t know, Primrose child ages range from 6wks – 6yrs and afterschool programs up to age 12. I myself had the pleasure of working in ALL classes with all ages, with my primary class age ¾ and Lead of afterschool program. Classes specifically my afterschool class would have upwards of 30 children on an average day. So working with multiple children at once is definitely doable. I began to babysit some of my Students afterschool. Then on weekends. Then went into overnights with the children while parents were away. I also developed the habit of picking children up on the way to school, and dropping a few home afterwards. After about a year and a half Read more of doing all that I found myself moving on from teaching completely into a full time Nanny position. For a few reasons. Main reason being I found it much more satisfying looking over a smaller group of children and their families… I found the days much more enjoyable and lax with children in their “natural habitat” so to speak. Having the ability to be their Sitter, Chef, Protector, Playmate, Teacher, Student (because I learn something from kids every day and I love it), and Nurse all in one – yes I am First Aid & CPR Certified. Taking on a bigger role in their lives than just their teacher. Becoming a confidant. A mentor. That’s what I enjoy most about my job. On top of the flexible hours. The better pay doesn’t hurt either. So for me personally, it’s a win win all across the board. Waking up every day actually excited to go to “work” and essentially hang out with children and get paid for it! I love it. I want to list a few things here that I have extensive experience with, what I am willing to do immediately: - Week days / Nights - Weekends (Parents Date Night/Out of town/etc.) - Overnights - School pick-ups / Drop-offs - Afterschool Activity Involvement (& Transportation) - Homework help / Tutoring - Meal prepping - Laundry - Light House Work - Morning / Bedtime Routine
