Hi I’m Marley. I am a 21 year old living in San Marcos, Texas. I have a strong passion and love for taking care of, teaching, and creating a fun and comfortable environment for children of all ages. I am a registered behavioral technician, and I currently work at a therapy center for children with autism. It is truly a blessing and a privilege to watch them grow, and to take pride in being a part of their journey. At this job, I take care of and provide behavior therapy for multiple different children. It is similar to a day care as the children do stay at the center 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, but with the added component of behavioral therapy. My very first job, starting at 15 years old, was working at a cheerleading and gymnastics gym that I also used to cheer for. There I Read more coached both preschool and elementary school level kids, as well as ran day care camps on weekends. I also worked as a volunteer coach on our cheerleading team for athletes with special needs, and it was a one of the most rewarding experiences of my life so far. I baby sat here and there in high school as well. I am at a point where I would like to dedicate my time to one family at a time, instead of 4+ per day. For me personally, no job has been as fulfilling as childcare has. I am experienced with and happy to work with any type of children. I am very friendly, playful, and loving, but I also know how to be stern when need be.
