Hi, I’m Jessica! I recently graduated from UNT with my bachelors degree in EC-6 General Education and EC-12 Special Education. I actually have a job lined up for the fall as an SLC Special Education Teacher, but I won’t be starting until end of July. I am also CPR and AED certified. I am a single mom to a beautiful 4 year old girl who is my greatest joy. I have spent a lot of time caring for children through my teaching internships as well as babysitting experience, and of course my own child. I have experience working with special needs children and I have also volunteered in the kids area at churches I have gone to. I absolutely love kids! Hence, part of the reason I’m going to be teaching. I have experience working with general education 3rd graders as well as 3/4 year old special education students. I Read more also currently babysit my bestfriend’s kids on Tuesdays and Fridays to help her out, and I usually bring my daughter with me since she’s bestfriend’s with her kids too. I used to work as a birthday party host at Pinstack, and I am comfortable taking care of large groups of children on my own. I have experience in other fields as well, but I figured covering my child care experience would be the best route here. I am just looking for some babysitting jobs to make a little money and get even more experience with kids throughout the summer. Let me know if you have anymore questions and I will happily answer!
