From 2018-2024, I was a nanny for two wonderful families. I nannied for children, newborn to school-aged. My duties included comprehensive newborn care, which included, health monitoring, administering medication, tracking feeding schedules, sleep patterns, and developmental milestones. I assisted with daily school drop-offs/pick-ups. Planned and supervised, engaging and age-appropriate activities, that promoted learning and cognitive development. I also managed and prepared daily meals for the children. I was an assistant teacher for St. John’s Methodist school from 2013-2017. I educated children on a weekly basis, in a classroom setting and taught educational skills and strategies through artwork, manipulatives, and book reading. I regularly created curriculum that introduced children to themes like, the solar system, the human body, nocturnal animals, seasons of the year, sight words, reading, mathematics, etc. Not only do I enjoy teaching and caring for children, I learn from them as well. I’ve learned that the care and Read more help that you give to others, always comes back to you as a blessing in return.
