I am a fun loving individual who lives by the golden rule (treat people, the way you want to be treated.) I also believe that no day, is a bad day! I enjoy being happy and optimistic because I believe there is a solution to every problem. My hobbies include dancing and singing, traveling, taking nature walks, going to concerts, antiquing, and spending time with friends and family. I have an extensive background in childcare, which includes being a nanny to ages newborn through school-aged children. I have experience with working closely with families to ensure their newborns are cared for to their liking, and to their specific schedule needs. My specialty is insuring parents feel safe and secure that their children are in good hands while they are at work. I pride myself on maintaining good communication with parents and keeping them up-to-date on their children’s milestones and progress. Read more I also have experience with classroom education. I can expose your children to the fundamentals that will help them become classroom ready and will likely allow them to be prepared and ahead academically. I myself have raised, a scientist and a current college student that is on the Dean’s List every semester. I love to engage children in playful/educational activities, like creating life-like animal toy farms, small and large motor skills play (example: playing seek and find the objects in the colorful slime), introductory meal prep (example: making healthy teddy bear face sandwiches), learning sight words, and number identification activities. That is just a small amount of activities that I love to expose young children to. Not only do I enjoy teaching and caring for children, I learn from them as well. I’ve learned that the care and help that you give to others, always comes back to you as a blessing in return.
