Hi my name is Carolyn Preston, I have worked in childcare for many years . I first started out working in daycare then preschool and then ultimately as a nanny. I have 3o years experience in childcare. I was very fortunate to have worked with some really great families in my career as a nanny. I have worked with newborn to preteen age. I am looking for a family with a newborn with potential for a long term position. I had several longterm positions in my career working as a nanny bonding with the babies or children was a wonderful experience teaching and playing reading , and going on walks , going to the park. I have experience cooking for the children i also will do the childrens laundry picking up after ourselfs driving to the park to play. My past experince as a nanny has been great. taking care of the child or children and providing a safe and nurturing enviorment for the children is my main goal. My most recent family was the Courts family in my neighborhood i took care of one child she was 6months old i was with them for 1 12 years. The family before the Courts was the Shindler family and i took care of two girls 312 years. I made lunch for the girls i did their laundry we went onwalks we played at the park we did artsand crafts. my experiecnce with all the familes was great.i also helped with potty training, we did lots of coloring. going on nature walks going to the library for story time. going to the park for a picnic was always a favorite. going to playdates with other children . I also worked with the Owen family i took care of one baby. I workd for the buss family in rocky creek for 2 years and i took care of one child. alittle bit about myself. My husband and i have been married for 41 years we have one son who is 39 yrs old and we also have a beautiful dog named rose she is 10 years old and we just love her. I love all animals .and i am very comfortable wwith animals .I do not smoke and i have a very good driving record .
