Hello! My name is Moriah, and I’m a nanny and artist here in Dallas! I have experience with children ages 6 weeks to 14 years, including young children on the autism spectrum. I specialize in babysitting little ones from 6 weeks to 10 years old! I love creating engaging activities for the little ones I care for, like fine motor games and arts and crafts! I’ve been known to make homemade Montessori toys on occasion! In addition to daytime nannying, I also babysit overnight and for date nights. I love pets, especially cats and dogs, and I love playing outside! I am open to light housekeeping duties in addition to baby duties, and either way, I’ll always leave your house as clean or cleaner than it was when I got there! I prefer to employ Montessori at home and gentle parenting techniques, and I only use positive discipline. If you Read more couldn't already tell, I hope to study early childhood education in grad school in a few years! More than anything, I love babies and kids. I think they're delightful! I don't get frustrated or impatient easily; tantrums don't really faze me! I believe that when a child is being "difficult" is when they need the most love. I am CPR and first aid certified, college-educated, and well-versed in Montessori, positive discipline, and feeding techniques for little ones. When I'm not working as a nanny or babysitter, I'm teaching private art classes to kids and adults! This is a really tough time for everyone, and uniquely challenging for parents.
