My name is Kristen, I am 39 years old, and work as a musician in the Dallas area. During the regular school year, I am typically under contract as a singer with The Dallas Opera. Currently, I am on break from performing, and I am a stay at home mom to a spunky three year old boy. My husband I have flexible schedules, and I am looking to pick up a few hours of extra income without interfering too much with my son’s schedule, as I am sure you understand! I am college educated with a degree in music, and currently working on completing prerequisites to apply to nursing school in the coming year, so my evenings have consisted of lots of online coursework! As far as other commitments, I sing as a section leader/soloist at a local church in Dallas with rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Firstly, I love children, as a parent to a little one myself, an aunt to many nieces and nephews, as well as having loads of experience with kids of all ages, most recently in the classroom with pre-kindergarteners through 5th graders as the music teacher for The Clariden School in Southlake, TX.
