Hi my name is Robin and I'm a 59yr old retired Preschool Teacher(19yrs) looking to be more than just your babysitter (a family nanny, educator and friend). I am born and raised in Buffalo NY where I started out at 13ys old helping my mom babysit family and friends children, until I was older to babysit on my own and open up my own homecare(babysitting in my home for families and friends). I loved children so much that I wanted to do more, so I went to College to take up Early Childhood Education and unfortunately I wasn't able to only complete a year due to female complications. After my first surgery I was back on my feet still babysitting and working as an substitute aide(2yrs) in the public schools(working with children in helping them to learn) and later as a one on one aid(3yrs) at a church school. I Read more came to Texas in 2000 and got a job as a teacher's assistance(little over a year) until I got promoted to Head Preschool Teacher at a private school /daycare and was loving every moment teaching children to learn and have fun doing so. I was also a nanny for a Family for over 10years 3 boys and they called me their Family, the boys are older now and the oldest started College last year and the second oldest is a Senior in high school), also helped with raising my great Nephew so that my Niece can go to college for years and Graduated...I'm CPR and first aid certified, various training certificates(we can discuss), culinary arts graduate(able to prepare healthy meals or snacks), my own transportation, non smoker and pet friendly for most animals :) Thank you for reading my Bio and I hope to hear from a Family soon.
