Hi! My name is Loree and I am a former swim lesson instructor and lifeguard looking to find a job as a nanny, babysitter, or tutor. I am a former swim instructor with Austin Aquamermaid, a mermaid tail company that provides lessons in “mermaiding”. My job was to teach kids how to swim in mermaid tails and fulfill their mermaid dreams, working with as many as ten kids in a pool at a time. I also have experience as a lifeguard, and know the basics of first aid and CPR. As a big sister to 4 sisters and 4 brothers between the ages of 2 and 20, the joyful chaos of childcare is what I am familiar with and I am comfortable caring for kids of all ages. I am so excited to meet you and your kiddos and get to know them and their interests while they’re in my Read more care. I would love to help them explore their interests through various guided indoor or outdoor activities, such as lessons in French, art, history, or even practical skills such as sewing or cooking. I can also provide swimming lessons to all ages from getting them comfortable in the water to learning basic swimming strokes. I’m currently an animation student at Artfx School of Digital Arts in Montpellier, France. I spend most of my year there but each summer I return to Texas to work and visit my family. I speak French at an intermediate level, and in addition to art, I have an interest in writing, history, and sewing.
