I have always loved caring for other kids, even when I was a kid myself. I come from a big, loud family with lots of pets, so I handle chaos well. I am an actor and theater maker in the time I am not caring for children, so I love imaginative games and goofing off with my kids. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in theatre and I'm currently working on my MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts through a low residency program out of Goddard College in Vermont. I encourage reading, critical thinking, and creativity in my kids and am always willing to help with homework. I spent a lot of time in college tutoring kids in 3rd-8th grades so I have experience figuring out how different children learn and helping them accomplish different goals. Ellie did not play or interact with my children. My son said she did take them to the park as I asked but that she just watched them and walked around. My son requested to play hide and seek but she said they should watch a movie so she just sat on the couch while he played video games etc. as my daughter fell asleep on the couch most likely from boredom. Somehow our chaise lounge got broken when my daughter sat on it and Ellie repled "Uh oh" according to my son and apparently didn't try to pick it up or assist my daughter in any way after it broke. Also no clean up at all so she literally "sat" but did not interact with my children and seemed quite lazy and surly overall.
