Hello parents and caregivers! My name is Annasofia, I’m a 19 year old college student so I’m relatively new to Austin. I started babysitting at my church back home since I was about 12 years old, seems odd for a kid to be in charge of babies but soon I became the go-to nanny. I believe that I enjoy being around kids so much because I am an only child, so being around kids and babies came from wanting to rather than having to be with them. I also come from a large family of about 50 cousins, who are mostly toddlers and I had to care for at some point. Some of my strengths are my patience and willingness to listen, while still allowing the children to learn. I am bilingual and currently studying psychology, which gives me more of an insight into what might be going on in your toddlers’ minds. This insight also allows me to be more patient and understanding based on the stage of development the kids are in. A few other perks are that I have my own car, I am available after 3pm Monday through Thursday, and I am available all day Friday through Sunday 90% of the time. In any given occasion that my weekends are not available it will most likely be due to my work-study obligations.
