Growing up, I always loved being around kids. I was the first one to volunteer to babysit and would always be playing with the younger kids. I loved it so much that I went to college and received a degree for it - Family and Child Development. With this, I took many classes pertaining to child life. Some of these classes include Child Development, Adolescent Development, Family Relationships, Family Theory, Infants and Toddlers, Intro Child Life and Family Policy. Because of these classes, I learned the importance of being a nurturing, caring and hands on caregiver. I also learned that finding out who the child is and what works with their learning and relationship growth is unique, so each child needs to be treated differently.
