I am a senior at Rhodes college who will be graduating with a BA in English this coming May, and have been working with children for four years. I have been a full-time nanny for two families, both of which had three children each, and worked two consecutive summers with the From The Heart Music Educational Foundation teaching children of all age groups how to play music. I also have experience in tutoring and love working with kids to find fun ways to make sense of challenging concepts. Outside of sitting, I am a full time student. During my time at Rhodes, I have participated in three study abroad programs and have had the privilege of visiting many different countries. I love getting to talk to children about all the different cultures I’ve learned about and have found that they are often very curious and eager to hear about countries Read more that differ from their own. I also started a band while in college and have been the lead singer for three years now. Music is one of my favorite ways to connect with children and I would be more than happy to work with them on guitar or singing if that’s something that your child is interested in! I think that kids are just the coolest and I love to create a fun, safe, educational environment for your children and grow and learn in.
