I have devoted my life to working with young people as an educator since 2010 and a summer camp counselor, babysitter, and tutor for 10 years before that. I currently teach 11-12 year-olds the art of the English language as a certified public school teacher, and I adore it. My main inspiration for teaching is to love and challenge each student whose presence graces mine. I am passionate about language, the arts, movement, social-emotional learning, project-based learning, social justice, and environmental issues. While I am out of the classroom this summer, I seek to make some supplemental income babysitting in Nashville. I hope to provide a very important and valuable service to local families while enriching a child’s/children’s lives through play, nature, excursions around the city, literacy activities… or in any way the parents desire!
