I started babysitting after taking a class provided by a local hospital geared towards training fun, responsible & reliable sitters when I was 13. I still use many of the tricks the class taught to keep kids safe, happy and entertained today! After graduating high school, I took a break from child care to gain experience in the retail world. But I longed for the family connections & the fulfillment I received from caring for children. A close family friend had just adopted twin baby girls & needed some extra help- I gladly left my day job & I made some unbelievable memories with those gorgeous girls. Once I moved to Chicago, I was happy to stumble upon this website which has connected me with young, growing families: most recently working with twin boys. I'm currently looking for a full-time nannying position or a regular babysitting position in your home.
