I started babysitting around 13 years old and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids for various families! But, most of my experience comes from nannying a family of 4 boys for over 4 years. I started when there were only three at ages 1, 4, and 7 and moved shortly after their newborn arrived (6 months, 5, 8, and 12). I handled various responsibilities and experienced what feels like everything you could think of (i.e., helping with homework, cooking meals, watching them overnight over a weekend, managing carpool/pickup times, taking them to doctor appointments, nannying on family vacations, performing the hemlock maneuver a few times for the youngest who had a hard time chewing his food, and so much more!) I am from Memphis, TN and moved to Nashville for a few career opportunities I am aiming toward; I currently hold a lead position as the visual merchandising specialist at Lululemon in Brentwood and hope to do this at a regional or even corporate level someday. I plan to make my schedule at lululemon accommodate my nannying schedule although Tuesday and Fridays will always require me at the store in the morning. I also love to sing, have been doing so since I was 12, and released my first song in March! I was on Season 21 of The Voice and periodically work with a few producers in the area. I do not see this having any effect on my work life but just enjoy writing and using my gifts and creativity in the free moments.
