Hi! I am a preschool teacher, therefore I have a strong amount of experience in early childhood development. Daily, I interact with 30+ children of various ages, caring for them physically while educating and having fun! I am a child at heart, and value nurturing that inner child. I will with my full heart will scream disney songs, binge watch Bluey while eating dinosaur nuggets, and read the same Baby-Sitters Club book a million times. I feel this connects with younger children in ways that makes them feel accepted, included and safe. Alongside this, I value self expression and standing out. I am lovingly referred to in my toddler class (ages 2. 5-3 years old) as "Miss Katen" and cannot get enough of coloring, reading stories, playing "Dinosaurs" outside, and so much more that happens daily. I do work with ages 6 months-5 years, and have experience with infant-12 years, Read more however my current main class is toddlers. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well as having completed all state required trainings for daycare and preschool settings. I also love pets, and if you have them, I will take care of them just as well as your baby, because our pets are our fur babies! feel that with my passion, values, previous work experience, and friendly demeanor, I am a good fit for your family.
