Hello! My name is Carrie. I am 45 years young and just recently relocated to Sylva NC. I have a BA in Secondary Education, have worked in social work and the non profit field, and have been a nanny to several amazing families. I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, and being creative in any capacity. I adore the energy of children and their ability to find the fun and exciting in life. I am an active, healthy non smoker. I have transportation and have my certification in CPR, both adult and pediatric. I am also COVID vaccinated. I am looking for a family that is good with communication. I get very excited about crafting and creating with children. I love doing art projects, cooking, being outdoors and just letting children express who they are. I believe in being present for children and practice mindfulness daily. I am also a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. I love pets and worked for many years in college as a veterinary assistant. I believe pets are part of the family and I will care for them with as much love as the children. I do not do well in families that ignore their pets and expect their nanny to as well.
