Hi! My name’s Caroline D. and I am 20 years old. I have been working in various childcare positions for over 6 years now. I have experience in a multitude of childcare settings such as, private nannying/household assistant, homeschooling groups, public elementary/middle school events, church events, and I have worked with special needs children. I am a patient and kind person with a passion for early childhood education. I consider myself to be highly organized, punctual, dependable, and professional. Listed below I wrote a brief history of my combined experiences responsibilities. Listed but not limited to: Create a safe and nurturing childcare environment for up to 10 children ranging in ages 2 months to 12 years of age while collaborating with parents, clearly communicating with parents to understand each child’s specific needs and desires, effectively and positively interact with infants, toddlers, and school age children working towards age appropriate milestones, Read more prepare and administer meals and any medications specific to each child’s dietary restrictions, create a stimulating environment, planning all-age-inclusive activities, making/adhering to schedules, maintaining/providing household cleanliness, regularly sanitizing surfaces and toys, organizational tasks, laundry, weekly meal prep, age-specific developmental progress, such as: bottle-to-cup transition, crib-to-bed transition, weaning off pacifiers, potty training, pre-k/grade school preparation. It’s important to me to flex, learn, and adjust to the family/parent’s teaching and lifestyle approach. I always aim to develop personal relationships with each child and work with parent’s to engage and help with growth and any specific goals!
