Hi, I have a WA State teaching certificate and over 20 years professional experience with families and children birth-10 years old as a nanny and preschool teacher in Seattle. I love to be outdoors, exploring nature at a child's pace. I also love reading picture books (I have a collection of 800), creating art, singing, fingerplays/poetry, dancing and big muscle play. I have played with up to 6 children at a time (20 in the classroom), have been at a birth, cared for a child with type 1 diabetes, and have experience with many special needs families. I have played the role of co-op preschool "parent", chaperoned many day and weekend field trips, and accompanied children to the ER and doctor's appointments. I am relocating to Summerville, SC and look forward to finding a great family or two to join. I have a reliable car, do not smoke and like Read more pets. I have a resume, references and am happy to update CPR/First aid/bloodborne pathigens, etc. I look forward to connecting with you!
