Ive had three years of strong experience with special needs. I worked with my high school MLD class. I can aid to many different disabilities. I am also a Independent Living Assistant for ClemsonLIFE, which is a college living program for those with learning disabilities to experience college living while gaining precious independent living skills. With our main goal being to set them up for living independently and for job success. This past year, I lived with three students with different ranges of abilities (one down syndrome, one autism, one MLD unspecified). As their living assistant, I worked with them on the cleaning, cooking, communication, and safety. In addition to these students I also was responsible for the 20+ other students living in the dorms as well. I am well-rounded in teaching a number of different abilities and can adapt to whatever the situation is.
