Hi there! My name is Andrea Miller. I am seeking some part time work, and believe this would be a great opportunity as I love working with children. I am a social worker through Lifespan working in pediatric emergency services. I hold an undergrad degree in psychology, and have professional experience working with individuals toddler to 23 years of age. With this, I have worked with kiddos and teens who are neurotypical and neurodivergent. I am comfortable with animals of all kinds- and have two rescued bunnies. I have experience with helping in daily living skills, light cooking and cleaning, and joining in on the interests of the kiddos I work with. I took three years of ASL, and understand the importance of verbal and non-verbal language including facial expression, gestures and behaviors. I have coached for the special olympics and the individuals I have had the privilege to work with professionally and for the sake of the sport have impacted my life significantly.
