Meet Lauren

I believe children deserve nurturing and thoughtful environments to help them learn & grow. I love working with children because it allows me to opportunity to offer creative solutions to aid them in exploring their interests, independence, and development in ways that spark endless joy & laughter. I was a babysitter growing up, and then became a camp counselor as a teenager. I then went on to receive my Bachelors in Psychology from The University of Vermont in 2019 where I heavily focused my studies in early childhood development, children aged 3-5. I received a certificate from the University for Promotion of Physical Activity in Youth & Children, and Level 3b recognition from CCV (college credits equivalent to an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education). I went on to work in a preschool classroom, special education, and eventually became a full time Young Toddler classroom teacher. I have 5 years Read more experience with children aged 1-3. I additionally have a great deal of professional development in trauma informed care practices. I have also received a 200 hour accessible yoga teacher training I am also a very artistic and musical person, I enjoy reading stories, singing songs, dancing, going on adventures, nature explorations, and playing outdoors.
