Greetings. My name is Jennifer and I have many years of wonderful experiences of working with children of all ages. I began babysitting as a teenager and l loved working with children so much that I became an elementary school teacher with a minor in Child Development. I taught for 10 years in the US as well as in Honduras and Hong Kong. Once my husband and I began our family, I stopped full time teaching and began teaching English on a part-time basis, as we were still living abroad in China. Since moving back to the US in 2005, I have taken long term substitute teaching positions, taught pre school, worked as a nanny, directed children's programs at our church and raised four of our own children, including one with special needs. I have also been a mom to eight exchange students since moving to PA in 2015. I Read more am currently the substitute teacher in the 3 year old class at a local preschool, while the teacher is out on maternity leave. When I am not teaching children I am running a photography business that focuses on newborn and child photography. Over the years, I have taken courses for CPR and First Aid, I have the PA clearances for working with children and I will be receiving my 2nd dose of the Covid-19 vaccine the first week of Feb. I am an active, creative, fun-loving individual that loves life and all the blessings that it brings.
